Job DescriptionAs a DevOps Team Lead at Insightful, blend technical expertise in cloud environments and CI/CD processes with leadership to optimize DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing regular feedback.
• Manage and organize the Cloud environment on GCP and on-premise environments, including CI/CD and Release Automation.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments, implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to refine deployment processes.
• Create and maintain onboarding plans for new hires.
• Conduct technical interviews and contribute to the hiring process.
• Develop individual objectives aligned with team strategy.
• Foster psychological safety within the team.
• Report to the Director of Engineering on team performance, progress, and training needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years DevOps experience, expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration.
• 2+ years leadership/management experience with strong communication and people development skills.
• Experience with GCP infrastructure (or AWS/Azure).
• Proven knowledge of CI/CD tooling and processes.
• Strong experience managing production environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mentoring skills.
• Fluency in English.

Bonus Points

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Familiarity with managed services (Mongo Atlas, Elastic Cloud).
• Hands-on coding experience.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
