Full-Time Digital Buildings Consultant

The Digital Buildings Consultant will lead teams and deliver consultancy and systems engineering projects in Digital Building technologies, applications, process, and standards. The role involves delivering projects and services to clients, fulfilling the Scope of Work outlined in agreements and client documents.

Responsibilities:

• Program and Project Management: Delivery of consultancy and engineering services and projects.
• Client Management: Understand customer requirements and business objectives.
• Services and Solutions Delivery: Support Digital Building systems integration, technologies, initiatives and solutions.
• Design Digital Building systems and architectures.
• Business Development: Identify potential revenue opportunities.
• Maintain expertise in industry trends and developments.
• Represent FPC in a professional manner.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years Digital Building and IoT industry experience.
• Proven track record in Digital Building related roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Effective Stakeholder Management and communication skills.
• Strong technical expertise in Digital Building technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Digital Building Systems Integration design.
• Digital Building Controls Systems (BMS, LCS, AV).
• Control Protocols (BACnet, MQTT, Modbus).
• IP Networking (IPV4, IPV6, Switching, Routing).
• Cybersecurity best practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in IoT Systems, Cloud Platforms (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and Data Analytics.
• AutoCAD / BIM / Visio.
• RIBA/AIA Stages of Work.
