What you'll do
Grasshopper Bank is expanding into affinity banking, combining digital banking expertise, partnerships, and marketing plans to offer banking solutions to brands enabling their embedded finance goals.
The role initially focuses on growing the relationship with AAA members (14-state footprint) following our acquisition of Auto Club Trust.
The Director, Affinity Banking, will:
- Set strategic plans for growth and revenue targets, SLAs for each affinity program.
- Have P&L responsibility for the Affinity Program line of business.
- Understand each affinity program's membership base, financial services needs, and craft a unique value proposition.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute sales and marketing programs.
- Partner with product and finance teams to ensure competitive and compelling financial products and services.
- Drive customer acquisition via digital marketing strategies.
- Enhance and A/B test digital properties (owned by the bank and partners).
- Collaborate with technology partnerships to provide a leading-edge digital experience.
- Gather and act on VOC feedback through Client Services.
- Manage marketing budgets to achieve growth and ROI.
- Establish, track, and report KPIs.
- Identify, source, and implement new affinity program opportunities.
What you need
- Prior experience managing affinity programs.
- Proven record in driving revenue growth and leading digital initiatives.
- Banking experience (consumer and/or commercial).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience with digital and traditional marketing.
- Data-driven mindset.
- Focus on innovation, operational excellence, and risk/compliance.
