What Does the Director, Market Access Strategy Do?
Supports the Market Access Specialty Affiliate and broader organization with data-driven market access strategic insight for existing and new clients.
Works closely with Market Access leadership, account teams, and clients to support strategic initiatives for market access.
Serves as a team lead for one or more clients, developing innovative strategies and initiatives to optimize market access and reimbursement across payer segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides healthcare expertise for client project strategy and execution.
- Represents Eversana Intouch Market Access to clients and leads payer strategy.
- Develops strategic and tactical marketing plans engaging market access stakeholders (health plans, PBMs, IDNs, employers, etc.) and HCP/patient initiatives.
- Provides strategic support to elevate market access solutions and bring new ideas.
- Supports cross-functional teams for internal and external client deliverables.
- Provides segment strategy input for prelaunch and existing brand, biosimilar, or loss of exclusivity planning.
- Assists new business development (research, proposals, presentations).
- Supports and presents education/training for customers or internal personnel.
- Assists in client workshops and competitive simulations.
- Reviews market trends and provides actionable insights.
- Prioritizes deliverables across multiple clients and assists team in meeting deadlines.
- Represents Eversana Intouch at industry meetings.
- Assists account teams in budget planning and service/project recommendations.
- Creates/curates internal/external training materials.
- Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What Are We Looking For?
- 8-12 years of agency, consultative, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Expertise in Market Access strategy and stakeholder engagement, understanding all phases of the commercialization lifecycle.
- Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions aligned with strategic imperatives.
- Ability to manage major clients and brands.
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Strategic and tactical project execution, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated and independent thinking.
- Familiarity with pharmacy policies, medical policies, formulary data, prescription/performance data.
- Develop client-facing materials using PowerPoint and Excel, interpreting customer needs.
