Full-Time Director of Accounting

• Partner with the Corporate Controller to lead and support the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement best practices to streamline the close and reporting processes
• Prepare, review, and support technical accounting memos and ensure compliance with US GAAP
• Support M&A activities, including purchase accounting, integration of acquired companies, and alignment of accounting policies and processes
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, legal, and other departments to support business initiatives and financial reporting needs
• Assist in managing the external audit process and maintaining strong relationships with auditors
• Support the development and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting
• Mentor and help develop accounting team members, fostering growth and performance

• CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of public accounting (Big 4 or large firm) and corporate accounting leadership roles
• Strong technical accounting expertise and solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with M&A post-close integration and purchase accounting
• SEC experience

• Proven ability to drive process improvements and work effectively in a collaborative leadership role
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Netsuite is a plus
