Full-Time Director of Procurement

Job Summary: We are seeking a Director of Procurement Strategy and Market Intelligence to lead the development and execution of procurement strategies. This role focuses on market research, competitive analysis, and supplier management to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and forward-thinking procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement Development: Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies.
2. Market Intelligence & Analysis: Lead gathering and analysis of market data to understand industry trends.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
4. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
5. Risk Management & Compliance: Analyze market risks and create mitigation strategies.
6. Reporting & Communication: Report to senior management on procurement performance.
7. Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategic initiatives.
8. Operational Excellence: Manage projects, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
9. Team Management and Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
10. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships and communicate procurement strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in procurement.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management and organizational abilities.
• Procurement software proficiency.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
