Full-Time Director of Product, Insurance Marketplace

Experian's Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business is seeking a Director of Product to lead the expanding Insurance vertical.

You will define and deliver a holistic insurance experience, promoting personalized insurance capabilities across the broader Experian product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop a comprehensive product strategy for the insurance platform (quoting, purchase funnel, carrier integrations, agency tools, in-app features).
2. Lead a team of product managers, providing strategic support and maintaining an understanding of Experian's operating model.
3. Design user experiences beyond one-time shopping; build tools for alerts on quote opportunities, risk/pricing changes, and coverage improvements.
4. Communicate strategy and technical topics, present roadmap trade-offs to senior leadership, and collaborate with product architecture and design.
5. Collaborate with marketing and lifecycle teams for go-to-market plans and incubation strategies to nurture users and convert interest into long-term value.
6. Serve as a strategic voice for insurance within the Marketplace team and broader product leadership, shaping how protection-oriented insights are delivered across the user journey.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience, leading complex consumer-facing platforms with measurable success in growing engagement and transactions.
• 3+ years of experience in financial services or regulated marketplaces, with insurance experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field (preferred).
• Experience building solutions addressing front-end user needs, back-office workflows, and external partner integrations.
• Comfort navigating technical product depth and communicating with executive leadership.
• Agile development experience with proven product delivery.
• Experience managing product managers, building empowered teams, and fostering strategic growth.
