About the Role: We seek a strategic Director of Product Design to lead the design vision for our Fleet Management product team. This role shapes future vehicle and equipment tracking, compliance, fuel, and maintenance solutions across web and mobile platforms.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive strategic design initiatives impacting business objectives and the product roadmap.
- Identify and champion opportunities for innovation using user-centered design across the Fleet Management platform.
- Lead the development and communication of a cohesive design vision for Fleet Management, aligning with company strategy.
- Empower and guide a design team, fostering professional growth and high-quality execution.
- Champion a user-centric design culture, advocating for user needs and design excellence.
- Establish high design standards and best practices throughout product development.
- Lead design projects from framing to execution and iteration.
- Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency and efficiency across all products.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and operations to define strategy, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless execution.
- Articulate a compelling design vision using strong storytelling and presentation skills.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years experience in UX, interaction, and interface design, leading product design teams in a SaaS environment.
- Proven success leading design of complex web and mobile products.
- Compelling online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles and strategic thinking.
- Strong understanding of and experience in developing, implementing, and scaling design systems.
- Excellent communication skills, articulating design rationale and building consensus.
- Experience collaborating with global/distributed teams.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of design impact on business outcomes.
- Passion for solving complex challenges.
- Familiarity with the fleet management industry is a plus.
