We are seeking a Director Product Management for Application Development Frameworks to join our global R&D team. This critical role requires a unique blend of functional product management skills and technical expertise in software development platforms, including workflow engines, UI frameworks, code generation, back-end engineering, and developer experiences.
What You'll Do:
- Drive Product Vision and Strategy: Identify key investments and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Application Development Framework, ensuring it provides robust capabilities for IFS application groups to develop their industry-specific solutions.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative features and products that empower IFS application groups.
- Conduct Market Research: Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, ensuring the framework remains at the forefront of technology.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, particularly focusing on the needs of IFS application groups.
- Measure Product Success: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making, with a focus on how well the framework supports the development of industry-specific solutions.
- Advocate for User Experience: Ensure products are intuitive, reliable, and meet user needs by advocating for the end-user experience, particularly for developers using the framework.
- Overcome Roadblocks: Identify roadblocks and provide practical recommendations for overcoming them, ensuring the framework's continuous improvement.
- Lead and Mentor: Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, all focusing on capabilities within the application development framework space, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
