NBCUniversal is seeking a Director, Vendor Governance to lead vendor management practices, driving operational excellence in third-party relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and execute vendor strategies. Manage vendor relationships. Serve as operational contact for vendors.
- Performance Oversight & Governance: Establish performance metrics. Implement governance frameworks. Lead vendor audits and assessments. Manage vendor escalations.
- Strategic Support & Analysis: Support contract negotiations. Conduct vendor assessments. Develop vendor scorecards. Provide recommendations on vendor consolidation. Lead vendor rationalization initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with VP Strategic Tech Delivery and SVP Procurement. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and operational teams. Coordinate SOW management and payment processing. Build relationships to drive adoption of best practices.
- Process Excellence & Scalability: Create scalable vendor management frameworks. Develop standardized processes. Streamline vendor management operations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years in vendor management, strategic partnerships, or technology operations.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Experience driving governance authority and organizational change.
- Expertise in technology vendor management.
- Strong track record of SLA management and vendor performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in media, entertainment, technology, or broadcast industries.
- Background supporting contract negotiations and strategic partnership development.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
