About the Role: Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer (Technical Focus)
As an Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and maintain the internal technology ecosystem supporting Gemini's global operations. You'll apply DevOps methodologies, automate tasks, and engineer innovative solutions for infrastructure management and scaling. You will develop internal tools, automate workflows, and improve system reliability using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and improve internal infrastructure using DevOps methodologies (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack).
- Integrate and automate workflows across SaaS platforms (REST APIs, OAuth).
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Concourse CI).
- Develop internal tools and scripts to manage and monitor global devices (macOS, ChromeOS, MDM solutions).
- Collaborate with support, acting as escalation point for complex issues.
- Engineer and maintain AWS integrations (EC2, S3, CloudWatch).
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (containerization).
- Support identity management (Okta, Google Workspace, Active Directory).
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with macOS endpoints and MDM platforms.
- Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Strong understanding of AWS services and networking fundamentals.
- Solid CI/CD pipeline experience and version control (Git).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
- Understanding of IAM technologies (Okta).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a startup or fintech environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive starting salary ($120,000 - $168,000 in NY, CA, WA).
