CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an Expert Technical Artist to join our CDPR studio for the Warsaw branch and work on The Witcher 4. You will bring advanced artistic and technical skills along with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers to ensure creative alignment.
- Conduct regular audits of content integrity.
- Contribute to the look development effort by analysing visual targets.
- Review artistic pipelines and processes to identify potential improvements.
- Mentor and guide fellow developers on best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve rendering and performance-related challenges.
- Research emerging trends and advancements in rendering technology.
- 7+ years of experience in real-time graphics, rendering, physical-based lighting, and shading PBR pipeline or technical artistry, particularly with Unreal Engine.
- A portfolio that showcases your excellence in artistry and computer graphics development.
- Strong understanding and proven experience in developing and using computer graphics workflows, particularly with Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in HLSL, GLSL, or other shader/programming languages.
- Strong communication skills.
- Initiative in driving shared goals, mentoring peers.
- Strong artistic affinities as well as creative and strategic problem-solving abilities.
