Job Details
The Cash Analyst is responsible to review and analyze policy premium balances and the timely collection of outstanding premiums. The candidate will process and reconcile finance related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Recording cash payments in Accounts Receivable system
- Applying cash to open receivable transactions
- Conduct research and resolve discrepancies with errant payments
- Communicate with internal and external customers
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Review and analyze reports
Skills:
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Business problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Great Plains general ledger knowledge
- Financial Systems, specifically Accounts Receivable cash application system (MAJESCO Billing experience a plus)
Education:
BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or an equivalent discipline
