Full-Time Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day finance management: Drive month-end and year-end closing cycles, conduct reconciliations, verify accounts, support invoicing, prepare statements, ensure regulatory filings, and manage relationships with banks, vendors, and auditors.
• Accounting quality: Ensure accurate and timely accounting by reviewing methodologies, validating entries, and improving systems.
• Internal controls stewardship: Develop and document processes to maintain internal controls and facilitate audits.
• Business partnership: Support leaders on financial decisions and business model evolution projects.
• Annual planning & rolling forecast: Develop annual targets for revenues and spending.
• P&L optimization: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and grow revenues.
• Ad-hoc financial & investment case modeling: Support business partners with scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Team building: Contribute to building a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Finance or Accounting (Master/MBA, CMA or CPA preferred)
• 8+ years of relevant experience as Finance Manager or Financial Controller
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and financial & tax statements
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, some Spanish preferred
• Experience with financial planning and accounting systems
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple assignments
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Interest in crypto & blockchain technology
