Full-Time Finance & Strategy Associate / Senior Associate

About the Role:

Ethos is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate / Senior Associate to define the company's financial plan and support cross-functional partners. This role involves using analytical, operational, and technical skills to improve corporate finance and FP&A functions.

• Apply a data-driven approach to decision making and support leadership in strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial and operational plans, including revenue, cost, and headcount targets.
• Build and scale the corporate finance function by implementing new processes and improving controls.
• Represent the company with external partners and help evaluate strategic vendor relationships.
• Develop and monitor critical financial performance metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4+ years of relevant work experience, including consulting, investment banking, and/or private equity / growth equity.
• Operational experience at a high-growth technology company.
• Excel skills and experience developing financial models and quantitative analyses.
• Ability to flex between strategic thinking and analytical problem solving.
• Motivated self-starter with a track record of success and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Stellar academic record with a degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
