Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our client’s team and support them by analyzing transactional data, identifying conversion gaps, and providing actionable solutions to improve performance. This role will focus on optimizing payment conversions by analyzing various factors, collaborating with clients to fix identified issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and experience working in a high-risk business, together with deep understanding of how technical aspects influence payment conversions.
Tasks
- Analyze transactional conversions across different merchants, regions, and countries to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to merchants on how to optimize payment processes and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate proactively with merchants to fix conversion issues, offering tailored advice and solutions based on data analysis.
- Work closely with internal teams (tech, product, and support) to understand how technical factors impact conversions and propose technical improvements.
- Conduct regular audits of payment systems to ensure optimization of conversion funnels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in payment processing, particularly for high-risk merchants.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and at least B1 Russian is essential.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, particularly in payment systems, preferably in high-risk environments.
- Strong knowledge of transactional conversion optimization and the ability to translate data into business solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and other relevant platforms.
- Technical acumen with the ability to understand how technical setups and integrations influence payment conversion rates.
- Experience in consulting and advising clients on optimizing performance and solving conversion issues.
- Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience with payment gateways and systems used in high-risk merchant environments.
- Knowledge of emerging payment technologies and solutions.
