Job Details
We are seeking an engineer with strong analytical and financial expertise to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing planning models, conducting profitability analyses, and providing strategic decision-making support. To excel in this role, relevant experience is required in areas such as Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Analysis, Financial or Strategic Consulting, or analytical engineering roles like cost engineering and project controlling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Planning: Business Planning model development; Budget and forecast preparation; Variance analysis and trending; Rolling forecasts and scenario planning
- Profitability Analysis: Break even analysis by products/BUs; Project cost-benefit analysis; Profitability analysis; Investment ROI assessment
- Reporting & Analytics: Executive dashboards and KPI tracking; Monthly management reporting; Ad-hoc analysis for management
- Strategic Support: Business case development ; M&A financial modeling; Capital allocation analysis
Languages:
- English: Advanced (C1)
- Catalan/Spanish: Native
- Other European languages are a plus, depending on the market
Additional training (valued):
- Financial education (Master’s, MBA, or other programs with a specialization in finance, controlling, or business analytics)
- Training in Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence
Structured thinking and problem solving. Attention to detail and precision. Project management skills and effective executive presentations. Adaptability to changing environments.
Financial Tools: Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA) ; ERP: SAP, SAC, AFOBI Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense Experience in digital transformation. Cost optimization project management (valued)
