Full-Time Forecaster

Brightspeed is seeking a Forecaster to join our team!

In this role, you will manage work streams and resources impacting appointment offerings.

The forecast system develops and maintains forecast models for the Network workforce, integrating business intelligence and forecast data from various sources.

The Forecast Team supports Field Management across all regions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Creating statistical forecasts in the Forecasting Tool, incorporating resource data to predict employee resources and supply chain needs for customer demand.
2. Gathering, analyzing, and validating data.
3. Executing statistical modeling and data review.
4. Reviewing statistical forecast models and plans.
5. Achieving consensus on operational demand forecasts through collaborative planning and improved relationships between planners and Field Management.
6. Applying error analysis to improve forecasting.
7. Summarizing aggregate statistical forecasts.
8. Recommending adjustments for operational forecasts.
9. Preparing materials for research and discussion.
10. Providing input to volume planning (Latest Estimates annual process).
11. Facilitating and managing demand planning customer meetings.
12. Achieving consensus with business and demand chain.
13. Maintaining demand planning systems and Forecasting Tools.
14. Entering and modifying data, ensuring accuracy.
15. Monitoring forecast error trends.
16. Preparing and maintaining demand planning process reports.
17. Refining systems and methods to enhance forecasts and anticipate customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and TEAMS
• Consultative abilities (rapport building, fact-finding, presenting options, recommending solutions, follow-up)
• Previous experience in a multi-tasking, results-oriented, deadline-driven role
