Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GL & AP Specialist. Responsibilities include ensuring purchase orders and goods receipts support all purchases before invoicing.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Warehouses to resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of supplier invoices.
Analyze and reconcile supplier statements, and promptly address issues.
Accrue expenses for unpaid invoices at month-end.
Ensure staff claims and credit card expenses have receipts and approvals according to the Global Authorisation Matrix.
Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules for Accounts Payable.
Maintain proper filing and safekeeping of documents for audits.
Assist with confirmations from third-party suppliers (if any).
Assist with intercompany recharges for the Asia team.
Collaborate with regional finance teams for intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Support auditors with queries.
Take on ad-hoc projects and assignments.
Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
Familiarity with local Philippine regulations and tax.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
SAP ERP knowledge is a plus.
Skills: Analytical, independent, meticulous, self-disciplined, strong time management skills.
