GL & AP Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GL & AP Specialist. Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring purchases are supported by purchase orders and goods receipt before invoice processing.
• Resolving pricing and quantity discrepancies with Supply Chain and Warehouses.
• Accurate and timely recording of supplier invoices.
• Analyzing and reconciling supplier statements, promptly addressing issues.
• Accruing expenses for unpaid invoices at month-end.
• Verifying staff claims and credit cards with receipts and approvals (per Global Authorization Matrix).
• Preparing monthly balance sheet schedules for Accounts Payable.
• Maintaining proper filing and document safekeeping for audits.
• Assisting with supplier confirmations and intercompany recharges for the Asia team.
• Collaborating with regional finance teams for intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
• Supporting auditors with queries.
• Completing ad-hoc projects and assignments.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiarity with local Philippines regulations and tax.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• SAP ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, independent, and meticulous skills.
• Strong time management and self-discipline, suitable for remote work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
