Full-Time Graphic Designer

At QAD, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations in both print and digital media.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and trends and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable.

Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, this designer should be able to take complex written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects and communicates our brand.

What you will do:

1. Work as the primary point of contact on the creative team for QAD Redzone to manage projects and deliver assets for campaigns, events, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
2. Work within brand guidelines using existing templates and continue to expand and improve the brand’s visual identity with sophisticated design techniques.
3. Build out design materials across diverse formats that may include (but are not limited to) marketing materials, presentations, collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, social media, and digital banners.
4. Work independently and adapt effectively to time zone differences with the core team.
5. Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriately.
6. Work independently as well as cooperatively with QAD and QAD Redzone marketing teams to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include multiple simultaneous projects.
7. Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video
8. Collaborate closely with other designers and managers to execute concepts aligned with established brand systems
9. Uphold high standards of process and production technique, enhancing the overall quality of our work
10. Ensure consistency in fonts, text placement, photo treatments, and overall visual quality
11. Manage the design, uploading, and delivery process for all project materials based on best practices and provide status updates as needed

What you need:

• Impressive Portfolio: Your portfolio showcases precision, attention to detail, and fluency across the Adobe Suite. Applications without a portfolio link or attachment will not be considered.
• 3-5+ years professional design experience: You have a strong foundation in design, ideally within a fast-paced corporate or agency setting.

• Process-Driven: You have a keen sense of organizational and time-management skills and can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Extra consideration for:

• A working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
• Professional experience in motion design and/or video editing and production techniques (Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere)
