Job Details
The Group Accountant supports accurate and timely financial reporting. Contributes to the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and statutory reporting deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare subsidiary month-end submissions.
- Assist in preparing consolidation adjustments.
- Prepare variance analysis for monthly management reports.
- Maintain data accuracy in Prophix and other reporting tools.
- Assist in preparing UK GAAP-compliant financial statements.
- Prepare and post monthly journals.
- Support Group IFRS Annual and Interim Reports.
- Support the preparation of quarterly budgets and forecasts.
- Consolidate departmental submissions.
- Perform variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
- Support treasury-related activities, including cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in preparing documentation for debt covenant compliance.
- Support banking administration.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience.
- Experience in a finance or audit role within a multinational or audit firm.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and group reporting.
- Experience with Prophix or similar systems is an advantage.
