Full-Time Group Product Manager, Vehicle Operations

About the role: Fleets depend on healthy, profitable vehicles. Your goal: keep vehicles on the road longer, at lower cost, regardless of fuel type. As Group Product Manager, Vehicle Operations, you'll own the health and performance of every truck on the Motive platform.

You'll work with engineers, data scientists, product managers, sales engineers, account executives, and customers to build full-stack products (hardware firmware to cloud services and mobile apps) with AI at the core. Key challenges include building and deploying AI models to predict failures, turning sensor readings into decisions to boost uptime and cut fuel use, automating maintenance and warranty workflows, and optimizing fuel and energy use. You will define the vision and deliver world-class products.

What we look for: 8-10+ years product management experience, including 2+ years leading people. Hands-on experience in fleet, automotive tech, or industrial IoT is desired. Track record of shipping products that cut cost or boost uptime. Strong data analysis skills. Excellent communication skills to align teams.

Nice to have: Shop-floor experience.

Compensation: Depends on location. San Francisco, California: $207,000-$265,000; US metropolitan areas: $198,000-$255,000; Other US locations: $162,000-$210,000. Motive is an equal opportunity employer.
