What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Treasury to lead our central treasury function, covering both fiat and cryptocurrency activities. This newly created role reports directly to the Group CFO and plays a pivotal role in optimising financial resources, managing risks, and supporting strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring both fiat and crypto assets are managed effectively.
- Develop and execute the strategy for 24/7 Automated Liquidity Optimisation.
- Provide insights and recommendations on liquidity management, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee daily cash operations, including liquidity management and forecasting for both fiat and cryptocurrency holdings.
- Implement efficient cash management practices.
- Manage the company's capital structure and optimisation strategies.
- Evaluate and execute financing strategies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies.
- Optimise investment portfolio returns.
- Manage relationships with banks and cryptocurrency exchanges.
- Oversee the KYC process for new relationships.
- Own policy creation, control, and Safeguard Sign Off. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyse treasury-related financial reports.
- Provide periodic reporting on treasury operations.
- Lead the A&L committee.
- Lead and mentor the treasury team.
- Manage relationships with Exchanges and Liquidity Providers.
- Communicate treasury strategies and performance.
- Prepare and facilitate investor presentations and due diligence sessions.
What We Need From You: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; AMCT/MCT/MBA or CFA designation preferred. Proven experience in treasury management, including both fiat and cryptocurrency assets. Strong understanding of financial markets, banking products, cryptocurrency regulations, and treasury best practices. Experience in a high-growth company with international exposure. Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial modeling, and automation tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and embrace change. Experience handling blockchain assets is beneficial. Strong interest and understanding of the cryptocurrency sector.
