We are seeking a talented and innovative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients, balancing creativity with practical considerations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
- Develop creative and innovative design concepts for residential and commercial spaces
- Create detailed plans, 3D renderings, and material boards to present design ideas
- Select appropriate colors, materials, furniture, and accessories for each project
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget requirements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and sustainable practices
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and ADA requirements
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues
- Prepare detailed project documentation and specifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent visual communication skills and ability to create compelling presentations
- Strong knowledge of color theory, space planning, and furniture layout
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and ADA requirements
- Effective project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and current design trends
- Understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods
- NCIDQ certification preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
Compensation:
Salary range: $86,750 - $134,000
