Job Details
Public Storage is seeking an Internal Auditor to provide assurance and advisory services. The Internal Auditor will promote the efficient use of internal controls and safeguarding of company resources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to Company locations for property audits or investigations.
- Perform due diligence reviews of potential acquisition properties.
- Evaluate internal controls for financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
- Make recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
- Evaluate trends in operational and financial data to focus audit activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
- Conduct special examinations and projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive business and/or operational experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver license and ability to travel up to 85%.
