Full-Time Investment Officer

Role Summary: Nithio seeks an Investment Officer to drive innovation in climate finance and energy access.

As an Investment Officer, you'll:

• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Identify client needs and develop innovative financing solutions, focusing on building the African loan portfolio.
• Conduct end-to-end transaction ownership (origination, due diligence, credit analysis, financial projections, negotiation).
• Manage client relationships and monitor borrower performance.
• Conduct market research and due diligence.
• Perform credit analysis of prospective borrowers.
• Support client engagements (investors, energy companies, policymakers).
• Ensure compliance with credit risk policies and regulations.
• Assist in defining risk tolerance and managing credit risk.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years experience in debt investments (financial/renewable energy).
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, debt funds, or corporate finance.
• Experience working in Africa or emerging markets.
• Fluency in G Suite and Microsoft Office.
