Full-Time IT Systems Administrator

Smartsheet is seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator. You will administer multiple SaaS and on-prem technologies, ensuring reliable, scalable systems and operational excellence. This role reports to the Manager of IT Infrastructure in our Bellevue, WA office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Administration, maintenance, and support of SaaS platforms
• Administration, maintenance, and support of Service Desk ITSM solutions
• Supporting existing SaaS products as user base and functionality grows
• Providing escalated systems support for Service Desk, resolving issues, and mentoring the corporate IT team
• Developing scripts and tools for automating routine tasks
• Conducting in-depth technical investigations to identify root causes
• Monitoring system usage to ensure capacity meets growth requirements
• Collaborating on new IT programs to improve performance
• Creating knowledge base content and reviewing existing documentation for enhancements
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a systems administrator in a production Windows and Linux environment
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for learning technology
• Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement multiple projects concurrently
• Experience with OKTA, including OKTA Workflows
• Familiarity with SOX, HIPAA, or PCI compliance
• Proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting languages
• Understanding of internet protocols, network firewalls, routing, switching, and VPNs
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM concepts and frameworks
• Experience with FreshService ITSM (including workflow automation)
• Ability to work occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends
• Participation in an on-call rotation
• Legally eligible to work in the US on an ongoing basis

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range: $92,500-$126,250 USD
