Full-Time Junior Accountant

Remote Junior Accountant position in the Philippines.

We seek a highly motivated Junior Accountant with experience in accounting, payroll, and financial statements. You will be handling full-cycle bookkeeping and providing valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day record keeping for management reporting.
• Management of A/R, A/P, and invoicing.
• Assisting in client planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Preparation of financial statements, month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Acting as in-house expert on client processes, documenting improvements and controls.
• Working with clients for documentation and information gathering, ensuring timely deliverables.
• Maintaining client confidentiality and professional communication.
• Completing administrative and ad-hoc tasks.
• Problem-solving and escalating issues as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Accounting/Finance or related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Familiarity with full-cycle bookkeeping
• Comfortable with learning new accounting software (QuickBooks Online, etc.)
• Familiarity with CRA requirements
• Preferred experience: Cloud-based bookkeeping software (QBO, XERO)
• Essential: Strong people skills, communication (written & verbal), adaptability, attention to detail, and problem-solving
• Must: Prior experience working graveyard shift
• Must: Own laptop meeting minimum specifications (Processor: Core i5 or higher; RAM - 8GB or higher; Download Speed: at least 6 Mbps; Upload Speed: at least 6 Mbps.)

Salary: PHP 40,000 - 60,000 (depending on experience). Schedule: 9AM - 6PM EST | 9PM - 6AM Manila Time.
