Full-Time Junior Accountant

About the Role:

A Junior Accountant in Accounts Receivable manages incoming payments, tracks outstanding balances, and ensures accurate financial records, focusing on tasks like invoice processing, reconciliation, and customer communication.

Your Responsibilities:

• Process incoming payments from B2B customers and international subsidiaries.
• Set up debit payment processes for domestic dealers.
• Monitor individual incoming payments.
• Oversee credit control for domestic and overseas distribution partners.
• Pre- and post-process monthly, quarterly, and annual account statements.
• Manage credit insurance and report on overdue accounts.
• Support liquidity planning and cash flow analyses.
• Contribute to process optimization.
• Maintain and update customer files.
• Process and record customer payments.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment issues.
• Support management in clarifying and applying accounting/tax matters.
• Perform daily financial transactions (verification, classification, computation, posting, recording).

Skills and Experience:

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience with basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of national (HGB) and international (IFRS) legal guidelines.
• Proficient with ERP (Oracle).
• Proficient with MS Office.
