Job in brief: Junior Digital Designer, Madrid, Spain. Hybrid working model, remote from Spain. Digital DesignStream team, Marketing department. Junior level, reporting to the Digital Design Manager. Fixed-term contract (1 year), full-time (36 h/week).
Your impact: Collaborate with designers, developers, and copywriters to achieve email campaign objectives. Collaborate with marketing, media, and sales to develop projects, from concept to execution. Design regular, seasonal, promotional, and automated emails. Organize and coordinate digital resources and assets for email marketing campaigns. Design engaging email layouts for higher engagement, click-through rates, and sales growth. Research and implement up-to-date design technologies. Ensure a consistent email experience across webmail and other applications (e.g., Gmail, Outlook).
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience as a digital designer with email marketing background.
- Responsive HTML/CSS email coding experience, using best practices and code reusability.
- Experience designing responsive emails for mobile, tablet, desktop, and web clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and flawless execution.
- Understanding of brand identities and how design translates to effective campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload, and work independently.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices (e.g., CAN-SPAM rules).
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Proficient with HTML5, CSS.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with email template management platforms (e.g., Taxi for email) a plus.
- Experience with Liquid and/or Sketch/Figma a plus.
