Full-Time Junior Marketing Designer

You'll be joining our dynamic marketing team at Octopus Deploy, where we're passionate about helping development teams deploy software with confidence. We value creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a growth mindset. You'll work alongside experienced marketers, content creators, and subject matter experts.

We are looking for an entry-level Junior Marketing Designer. The candidate should be ready to develop their existing skills by working with senior creative staff on ambitious projects. An understanding of illustration, typography, and layout will be needed.

What you'll do:

• Create vector illustrations of content.
• Layout of flyers based on templates, extending the design within the brand.
• Illustrate the Octopus character for swag.
• Elevate the design of slide decks to enterprise level.
• Maintain our company resource library.

Your background:

• Approximately 1 year of professional working knowledge of the following tools: Illustrator, Canva, InDesign, Google Slides.
• Comfortable being adaptable, flexible, willing to listen to feedback.
• Experience in drawing vector illustrations.
• Communicating with senior team members to receive feedback.
• Liaising effectively with stakeholders.
• Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
• The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong organisational skills.
