Full-Time Lead IT Procurement Director

We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute and motivated achiever to join our dynamic procurement team in the United States. As the Lead IT Procurement Director, you will oversee a portfolio of global IT-related spend categories, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and lead high-value negotiations with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of IT related spend categories, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational excellence.
2. Partner with teams to drive forward new technology initiatives, including digital transformation plans.
3. Develop relationships with internal partners, including senior IT managers, business leaders and finance executives being their Subject Matter Expert (SME).
4. Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and lead high-value negotiations with key suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions.
5. Support Technology teams in producing business cases, ensuring through commercial and contractual assessments.
6. Drive technology rationalization and consolidation efforts to enable tangible cost optimization.
7. Ensure adherence to compliance, governance and regulatory standards.
8. Identify, develop and implement cost-optimization initiatives.
9. Utilize market intelligence and industry trends to inform procurement strategies, drive innovation and cost-effectiveness.
10. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
11. Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with suppliers.
12. Represent the IT procurement function in executive meetings and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years experience in IT procurement and strategic sourcing with experience in a senior leadership role, within the Financial Services or Technology sector.
• Team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
• Experience communicating and building agreement with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with the IT market and industry trends.
• Experience managing complex procurement projects.
• Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-regional projects.

Location: Hybrid in Allen, TX or Costa Mesa, CA
