Job Details
Reporting to the Director of Product Design, you'll join the design team focused on Xplor Gym.
In this role, you will:
- Set direction
- Drive design quality
- Elevate the impact of design across Xplor Gym
You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to shape strategy, craft end-to-end experiences, and ensure our solutions meet both user and business needs. You will be part of a talented team of eight designers.
Responsibilities:
- Shape product strategy by identifying, defining, and reframing complex product problems.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders to align design direction with business impact and customer value.
- Produce high-quality designs that leverage Apollo and contribute to its evolution.
- Lead discovery and research initiatives by planning, conducting, and synthesizing insights.
- Craft compelling design narratives.
- Confidently present and defend design decisions.
- Drive outcomes by anticipating risks, unblocking teams, and ensuring projects achieve measurable success.
- Manage designers’ performance and growth.
- Facilitate critiques, workshops, and rituals that promote collaboration.
- Influence hiring decisions and help shape the long-term vision of the Membr design team at Xplor.

Required qualifications:
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design expertise across web and mobile platforms
- 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or fast-growing tech environments
- Past management experience leading and developing designers
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex projects end-to-end
- Deep expertise in user-centered design with strong research skills
- Advanced proficiency in design systems
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Experience influencing hiring, shaping team structures, and building long-term design culture and vision
