Job Details
Zippy is seeking a Lending Operations Manager to lead a borrower-facing team. This role focuses on driving loan progress from qualification through approval. The team serves as the primary point of contact for borrowers, community partners, and dealer partners, ensuring conditions are met, documentation is complete, and borrowers feel supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Zippy Guide Associates.
- Maintain a daily coaching rhythm, including call listening and feedback.
- Own the borrower-side pipeline from qualification to approval.
- Ensure proactive outreach to obtain borrower documents and resolve conditions.
- Oversee daily call center operations.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Learning & Development, and Operations for process improvement.
- Reinforce adherence to lending regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage or consumer lending.
- 2+ years managing a call center or borrower success team.
- Understanding of pipeline management and borrower communication.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- NMLS licensed or willing to obtain licensing within 60 days of hire.
Preferred location: Dallas, Phoenix, or San Antonio. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
