Job Summary: The Loan Settlement Analyst supports the loan closing process, ensuring accurate and complete documentation for LMA and LSTA loans in European and North American markets. Works closely with counterparties, loan agents, and clients, primarily on the ClearPar platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loan Documentation: Reviews loan closing documents (e.g., confirmations, transfer certificates, funding memos) for accuracy and compliance. Identifies and corrects errors, missing information, or inconsistencies before execution.
- Organization and Maintenance: Organizes and maintains loan files, ensuring proper and timely filing.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicates with clients, counterparties, and agents to gather information and resolve discrepancies. Provides status updates and prepares status reports.
- Compliance and Quality Control: Verifies loan conditions and stipulations before closing. Ensures client elections on AA and Loan Transfer Certificates are correct. Conducts quality control reviews to correct errors in closing documents.
- Customer Service: Provides excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns promptly and professionally, assisting clients with the loan closing process and requirements. Facilitates efficient loan closings.
- Administrative Support: Assists with administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and document management, supporting Senior Settlement Analysts and Client Managers.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or relevant field.
- 2+ years’ experience in investment operations (ideally middle office or transaction-facing).
- Knowledge of financial data providers (Bloomberg, ClearPar, etc., desirable but not essential).
- Understanding of trade lifecycle and LMA settlements.
- Knowledge of credit investments (particularly bank loans).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication.
- Ability to multitask and handle high volume of work.
- Strong work ethic and ability to grasp key concepts quickly.
Working Hours: Morning Shift: 9 am to 6 pm
