Full-Time Local Finance Officer

PayDo, a leading Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorized by the FCA, FINTRAC, and MFSA, operates globally.

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to establish and oversee all financial aspects of our operations in Malta and globally.

1. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
2. Oversee preparation and submission of accurate financial reports (GAAP, IFRS compliance).
3. Manage cash flow, P&L performance, and treasury operations.
4. Lead internal and external audits.
5. Build and manage a high-performing finance team.
6. Develop financial models for strategic planning and analysis.
7. Provide actionable financial insights for decision-making.
8. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
9. Possible Regulatory Representative Duties: Act as official representative for interactions with regulators.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years FinTech experience (EMI/PSP/related).
• MFSA license experience.
• BR06 and CMPSS report preparation.
• Experience with auditing, account safeguarding, and regulatory reporting.
• Understanding of payment systems and electronic money operations.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• Experience managing cash flow, liquidity, and audits.
• Experience in corporate finance.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, etc.).
• Fluent English and Ukrainian/Russian (Maltese a plus).

Education & Certifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, ACCA) a plus.
