Position Summary
Growth-minded Deal Sourcer to complement our M&A Corporate Development team. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and organized.
Your mission will be to proactively source acquisition targets.
Responsibilities
- Industry Research and Deal Sourcing
- Identify and evaluate acquisition targets.
- Build, expand, and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects.
Relationship Building
- Build relationships with founders, owners, executives.
- Develop credibility and trust by demonstrating industry knowledge.
- Stay top-of-mind with potential new partners.
Pipeline Development
- Goal-oriented, omnichannel approach.
- Collaborate to advance a go-to-market strategy.
- Originate qualified leads for proprietary acquisitions.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach and progress in Salesforce.
Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with internal M&A deal teams to align sourcing efforts.
- Concisely articulate market trends, company needs, and potential opportunities.
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Wealth Advisory Corporate Development, Insurance M&A, or Private Equity, preferred.
- Documented success showcasing origination, deal sourcing, inside sales, business development, or pipeline generation, preferred.
- Skilled in deadline-driven environments with strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Proactive in remaining educated on innovations and valuations in the insurance and financial services sectors.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
