About the role: The Manager, Finance Systems & Program Delivery is the strategic and operational leader for the company’s financial technology ecosystem. This role blends hands-on accounting and finance expertise with deep systems knowledge.
What you’ll do:
- Systems Leadership & Delivery: Own and implement the finance systems roadmap. Lead system optimization, integration, and automation initiatives. Partner with Finance leadership to ensure systems enable compliance, accurate reporting, and efficient business processes.
- Hands-On Finance Expertise: Serve as the bridge between Finance and IT. Leverage accounting knowledge to improve configuration and processes. Validate system output against financial requirements.
- Operational & Administrative Leadership: Ensure accurate, timely, and secure data flow between financial systems. Oversee user access controls and security configurations. Direct and mentor the Finance Systems team.
- Support & Incident Management: Oversee Level 1–3 support process for finance systems. Escalate and manage vendor relationships.
- Compliance & Controls: Partner with internal audit, external auditors, and compliance teams to maintain SOX controls.
Who you are:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
- 5+ years experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles, with at least 3 years in finance systems leadership or ERP administration.
- Expert knowledge of accounting processes.
- Strong experience with NetSuite or equivalent and one or more of: PBCS, HFM, Blackline, Workiva, Coupa, Vertex, Avalara.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional finance systems projects.
- Preferred: Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency, global organization. Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS. Experience designing and enforcing SOX-compliant controls in ERP systems. Familiarity with API-based integrations and middleware.
