We are seeking an experienced Managing Sales Consultant to join our growing SAPPHIRE tracker team, focusing on brand performance tracking studies for pharmaceutical and life science clients. Key duties include defining launch and ongoing marketing strategies to deliver SAPPHIRE.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising between clients, sales, and product development.
- Gathering requirements, creating go-to-market strategies, and providing ongoing sales and operational support.
- Driving increased revenue by enhancing capabilities and enabling key revenue drivers.
- Networking with existing clients to identify new business/prospects.
- Pursuing new business/prospects and presenting product capabilities to pharmaceutical and life science clients.
- Providing superior customer service, collaborating with Project Managers and Managing Consultants to execute project specifications and achieve quality results.
- Attending internal and external client meetings to consult on SAPPHIRE capabilities and future needs.
- Proactively understanding clients' unmet/evolving needs.
- Analyzing, coordinating, and conducting customer and key thought leader interviews.
- Supervising and mentoring mid-level and junior analysts, evaluating performance, and providing constructive feedback and support.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven business development experience with pharmaceutical and life science clients.
- 5+ years of B2B product management experience with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- 2+ years of hands-on global primary market research project management and consulting experience, including survey design, conducting interviews, sample stratification, vendor management, and data analysis.
- Leadership qualities and ability to handle multiple commitments and frequent deadlines.
- 1+ year of collaborative, cross-functional teamwork experience (market research, business analytics, marketing, and brand management).
- Detailed involvement in drug development, business commercialization, and marketing processes within the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, communicating complex ideas clearly to various audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior marketing executives.
