Mission: The Government Pricing Senior Manager is part of a consulting team leveraging Life Sciences expertise to analyze, model, and synthesize data for Government Pricing (GP) customers. The role provides prompt, accurate, and compliant GP advice, strategic recommendations, and builds strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic, operational, and compliance advice for various Government programs (Medicaid, FSS, 340B, Medicare) and related pricing calculations.
- Oversee Federal Supply Schedule contract compliance (contract maintenance, Public Law submissions, customer monitoring).
- Assess customer GP processes, benchmark against best practices, develop recommendations, and guide process improvements.
- Lead pre-commercial customer engagements for successful product launch/commercialization.
- Provide industry insights and identify potential business impacts.
- Update/develop customer policies and procedures for compliance.
- Improve customer satisfaction to drive referrals and renewals.
- Create high-quality deliverables, manage expectations, and deliver on time or ahead of schedule.
- Build trust with customers by providing decisive counsel and accurate deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage and mentor a US-based team member focusing on performance management, development, and team building.
- Contribute to thought leadership through networking and research.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of consulting experience in contracts and pricing, with direct experience in Government Pricing and FSS contracting.
- Ability to respond to change and lead the team and customers effectively.
- Strong customer-facing experience with complex Government Pricing activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional teamwork.
- Mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of government pricing practices, methodologies, and regulations.
- Diplomatic, persuasive, and able to establish rapport with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
