Sprout Social is looking to hire a Marketing Operations Manager to join the Marketing team.

What You’ll Do
  • You will consistently strive for ways to optimize our current workflows & processes with a focus on data integrity and hygiene.
  • You will drive cross functional projects that require tight alignment across Marketing, Sales and Operations teams.
  • You will design, build and maintain key operational workflows in our Marketing Automation Platform, Marketo.
  • You will be the primary owner of several core elements of our tech stack (ex: 6Sense, Chili Piper, Splash, Reachdesk) aligning tool usage with the overall Marketing strategy to impact revenue growth.
  • You will ensure data accuracy and consistency across all marketing systems and platforms.
What You’ll Bring
Sprout Social is looking for an experienced, motivated, and collaborative Marketing Operations professional to join our team. You will be at the forefront of platform operations, serving as the primary owner of key components within our Marketing tech stack. Your responsibilities will include aligning with stakeholders and leading cross-functional projects to ensure seamless collaboration and elevate the performance of our revenue organization.

Additionally, you will develop lead management processes throughout the lead lifecycle that can scale with the business, ensuring that each step in the funnel is operationalized and optimized through the right technology and clearly defined processes. You will help to ensure that best practices for data management, workflow automation, program execution and reporting are consistently applied.

The successful candidate will have a detailed eye for creating and maintaining an operational framework, and will take an analytical approach to identify opportunities and gaps within our current processes and technology. If you are passionate about Marketing Operations, we’d love to talk to you!

The minimum qualifications for this role include:
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or Marketing Automation
  • 3+ years of experience using Marketo
  • 3+ years of experience using Salesforce CRM
  • Experience working with demand generation, revenue attribution, lead scoring, and customer lifecycle
  • Experience managing and integrating tools across a martech stack
Preferred qualifications for this role include:
  • Marketo Certified Professional or Marketo Certified Business Practitioner
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to collaborate across departments and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Experience working with SQL, data warehouses, CDPs or other big data concepts & technologies
  • Analytical, evidence-based, able to understand and use data from multiple sources to formulate conclusions and recommendations
How You’ll Grow
Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:
  • Experience Sprout’s in-depth onboarding, covering everything from our company mission and values, hearing directly from executives and founders, to deep training on our products and the value that Sprout delivers to our customers
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing leadership to set initial priorities and align on expectations for your role
  • Meet with other key partners in Operations, Sales, Product, and Finance to learn about the scope of their work and areas of opportunity
  • Begin digging into Sprout’s Marketo instance
Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:
  • Become acquainted with the key pieces of our martech stack
  • Develop familiarity with Marketing and Sales operational processes
  • Work with your manager to develop a prioritized list of projects
Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:
  • Take ownership of several components in our tech stack
  • Identify gaps in our current tools and process and develop solutions to address
  • Develop strong relationships with key partners in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations & Finance
Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:
  • Manage and implement high impact operational improvements and changes across the entire marketing funnel
  • Recommend ways we can consolidate or better use our marketing tech stack.
  • Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to change your team in beneficial ways that we haven’t even considered yet
