Full-Time Mechanical Developer/Engineer

Mechanical development of new products (Sensors) and defining the specifications and technical documentation of those products.

Complete product life cycle management: Customer iteration, requirements evaluation, product development, engineering change requests, bill of materials, customer change requests.

3D design solutions using CAD modelling tools and 2D drawings: Using existing specifications, creation of specifications for suppliers and production.

Simultaneous engineering: With project lead, production, process engineering, suppliers, and sample shop.

Supplier selection and sourcing: Participation and technical lead in the process.

Supplier process follow-up: Tool creation to ensure maturity before mass production.

Interface and communication: To other development sites and the Project Manager.

Investigations and root cause analysis: Of concept problems and implementation of corrective measures.

Problem-solving team participation: Including participants from Purchase, Quality, and Suppliers.

Cost analysis and benchmarking: Of state-of-the-art technology.

Essential skills and experience:

• Mechanical/Polymer Engineer with Automotive Development experience.
• Independent working attitude, team collaboration (engineering, production, quality, suppliers).
• Experience with simulation tools (FEM for structural analysis).
• Analytical mindset, independent technical investigations.
• Injection molded Plastic/Metal parts and Sheet Metal Parts design and production knowledge.
• Part Dimensioning and GDT expertise.
• CAD (NX or CREO) 2D and 3D proficiency.
• Quality and Problem Solving Methodologies knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills with management, suppliers, and customers.
• Proficient in technical documentation and presentations.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Experience in creating and presenting technical documentation.
