Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Mechanical Engineer (Design). In this role, you will review requirements to perform 3D modeling of our products, update drawings and generate parts lists for assemblies, and process engineering changes in support of various programs. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of 3D modeling, and general tolerances and dimensioning specifications. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Creo Parametric, or similar 3D modeling tools
- Basic proficiency with hands-on build activities (use of common hand tools)

Desired skills

- Familiar with EPDM or similar data repository system
- Familiar with protyping / 3D printing design
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate vendor communications
