Full-Time Mortgage Suspense Analyst

• Monitors suspense items issued by investors, agencies, and internal quality control teams.
• Investigates root causes, and collaborates with closing, underwriting, and post-closing teams.
• Maintains accurate logs of all suspense conditions, updates system notes in real-time.
• Ensures that suspense items are cleared within the required investor timelines to prevent penalties or purchase delays.

1. Clear investor and agency suspense conditions accurately and on time.
2. Maintain complete and accurate system notes and documentation.
3. Identify recurring issues and communicate with teams to prevent future suspense items.

• Review and resolve suspense conditions on Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loans.
• Serve as liaison with investors, agencies, and internal teams.
• Monitor loan status daily to avoid aging and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain detailed, accurate logs and real-time system notes.
• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly.
• Research and validate conditions against investor guidelines.

• Two or more years of recent mortgage experience.
• Familiarity with DU/DO, LP, and investor websites.
• Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (Encompass preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Proven experience in complex problem-solving and analytical skills.
