Full-Time NetSuite Accounting Analyst

Job Overview: The Accounting Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams (production managers, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, PMO) to reconcile sales orders throughout project lifecycles. This role ensures accurate billing and resolves unbilled accounts. Strong organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in analyzing NetSuite data are critical, along with meeting deadlines. MUST HAVE NETSUITE EXPERIENCE. HYBRID ROLE - 3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE - FLEXIBLE WORK HOURS.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Research and collect data on historical and current projects for accurate invoicing.
• Follow internal controls to reconcile customer accounts throughout project lifecycles for accurate revenue, invoicing, and reporting.
• Monitor and maintain detailed billing terms for each project; ensure timely invoicing and provide necessary data to relevant parties based on contractual terms.
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve projects on hold for timely resolution.
• Research, reconcile, and resolve sales order backlog.
• Maintain detailed weekly schedules for accounts pending reconciliation.
• Prepare contract closeout documentation for PMO and billing.
• Serve as primary communication point for weekly status reporting to Project Managers and Accounts Receivable.
• Identify opportunities to streamline PMO and billing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or equivalent field.
• Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional team interaction.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Analyze and assimilate data from multiple sources to drive account resolution.
• NetSuite or similar financial software proficiency to manage data.
• Understanding of revenue recognition principles.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent and collaborative team work.
• General ledger account reconciliation experience is a plus.
