Job Details
Job Title: NP/PA - Virtual Urgent Care
About the role: Provide virtual care to Oscar Health Insurance members in designated states. Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care using audio and written communication. Report to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.
Hours: Overnight shift, 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. EST (full-time, 40 hours/week).
Work Location: Remote/Work-from-home. Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
Pay Transparency: $140,000 - $150,000 per year. Eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation, and performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality virtual patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice leads on complex cases.
- Follow up on labs, imaging, and communicate with patients and other providers.
- Utilize virtual exam tools, including remote monitoring.
- Participate in collaborative care models with various team members.
- Participate in required meetings (huddles, case conferencing, All Hands).
- Provide feedback for operational workflow improvement.
- Comply with all laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
- Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
- Compact RN license (if an APRN)
- 3+ years urgent care experience
- 2+ years virtual care experience
- Licensed in a minimum of 1 core Oscar State (GA or TX)
Bonus Points:
- Spanish language fluency
- Experience with remote diagnostics and home monitoring tools
- Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar states.
