Mercury is building a banking stack for startups.
Our Onboarding team is responsible for getting customer accounts open, managing a team of specialists, and ensuring efficient processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring and managing a team of Onboarding Specialists
- Monitoring metrics, addressing questions, handling escalations, and supporting the team
- Conducting regular 1:1s to provide feedback, set goals, and support career development
- Utilizing Onboarding KPIs to effectively manage the team and achieve goals
- Identifying efficiency gains in onboarding processes
- Managing projects with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Supporting strategic planning and team vision
Skills and Experience Required:
- 3+ years leading queue-based teams
- Passion for leadership and career development
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
- Strong ownership mindset and high standards of excellence
- Adaptability, resilience, and proactive leadership
- Experience in Risk or a willingness to learn new domains
- Proven problem-solving skills
