Packaging/Graphic Designer

TeeTurtle, a consumer product company creating nerdy toys, games, apparel, and accessories, is seeking a passionate Packaging/Graphic Designer. We’re dedicated to creating products that empower self-expression and meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create packaging and graphic design assets for plushies, games, and other products for maximum shelf appeal and sales.
• Develop style guides for new products, influencing future expansions.
• Design new packaging concepts for both existing and new product lines, ensuring functionality and retail appeal.
• Create compelling, on-brand graphics and logos for all product packaging (box design, rules/card layouts).
• Design graphic assets for e-commerce campaigns and promotions, maximizing user experience and click-through rates.
• Develop consistent, high-quality graphic design assets across all sales channels (digital and print).
• Create digital and printed assets for special projects (trade shows, catalogs, vendor materials).
• Create digital site comps for e-commerce, ensuring high-quality product representation to customers.
• Ensure packaging files include necessary legal information (UPCs, lot/batch data) for smooth factory processes.
• Review digital files, prototypes, and physical samples for accuracy, compliance, and quality.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and game teams to ensure projects' success and facilitate information access.
• Communicate project timelines, status updates, and design development roadblocks effectively across departments.
• Implement process improvements to optimize packaging design and the broader creative team workflow.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate product files, ensuring clear communication with factories.
• Review files for game localization and provide design guidance to localization partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of design experience (print & digital)
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Understanding of composition, color theory, light, and form
• Experience with consumer goods packaging design
• Ability to adhere to strict style guidelines across multiple brands
• Experience with pre-press and file configuration
