Full-Time Plant Operator

• Maintain communication with the Shift Leader.
• Complete preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Maintain tools professionally.
• Suggest cost-saving ideas.
• Maintain swimming pools.
• Respond to guest repair requests.
• Acknowledge guests.
• Operate advanced systems.
• Detailed knowledge on RO plant, Generator, Boiler, Fire pumps, Fire panels.
• Communicate with people.
• Check for new maintenance requests.
• Update maintenance work order form.
• Interpret readings from meters & gauges.
• Focus on details, speed and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure security of guest room access.
• Read and understand test equipment and safety manuals.

• Plunging toilets, unclogging drains.
• Repairing hardware, electrical equipment.
• Maintaining AC units and ducts.
• Repairing plumbing and cosmetic items.
• Program TV's and perform inventory duties.
• Test and repair equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain tools.
• Analyze problems and implement solutions.
• Be available for emergencies.
• Monitor fire alarm systems.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Carry out instructions.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain the hotel facility in a safe manner.
• Perform duties as assigned.
• Train staff.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Basic mathematical calculations.
• Six months to two years of experience.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment.
• Operate equipment like pumps, engines, generators, valves, chemical feed, and control devices.
• Use computer programs for process control.
• Work in a team environment.
• Serve rotational 24-hour emergency on-call.
• Employee Orientation, Departmental Operating Procedures, Safety, OSHA and Quality Training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
